Congress MLA asks what is the plan to give allowances to the unemployed, CM says no such plan

Gwalior The state government has withdrawn from the promise of giving unemployment allowance to the youth. Whereas, the Congress pledge has said that the government will provide an unemployment allowance of up to 4000 rupees per month for employment or up to five years. Congress MP Munna Lal Goyal had asked whether the government is planning to give allowances to the unemployed. Chief Minister Kamal Nath while giving a written reply to the question said that such a plan is not being made.

The government is working on those schemes, which will give employment to more and more youth. Youth Swabhiman Yojna, Chief Minister Skill Promotion Scheme, Chief Minister Kaushalya Yojna and Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana and skill development through ITI and Polytechnic are being done. Apart from this, employment fairs are organized under the Job Fair scheme where the youth are given employment in the private sector.

Officers kept the minister confused
Congress MLA Munnalal Goyal told the journal on Thursday that the employment department is with the Chief Minister, but its working minister is watching Bala Bachchan. He has answered the unstarred question only. MLA Goyal said that I will first write to the minister and tell him that the officers got him wrong answer in the House.
