Cancer Hospital & Research Institiute

The Cancer Hospital & Research Centre in Gwalior is a government-funded institution that serves as a Regional Cancer Centre. In addition to providing medical services, the hospital also offers courses in Medical Records that are affiliated with Jiwaji University and the MP Paramedical Council in Madhya Pradesh. The hospital has a poignant backstory that involves the loss of a son to osteosarcoma sarcoma in 1971. Following the tragedy, the Sahai family established a charitable trust called Jan Vikas Nyas with the goal of building a cancer hospital in Gwalior. After years of hard work and overcoming various obstacles, the Cancer Hospital was established in 1977 and has since grown into a modern facility that provides comprehensive cancer care.
